As a follow-up to the search of the DC Real Property Database, and to the questions posed by several commenters, a search of the Miami-Dade County real property records reveals that the Miami Shores home purchased in June, 2008 has also not been sold. As mentioned in an earlier posting, the Miami Shores property has been rented. When the defendants were released from their electronic monitoring, the deed to this property was surrendered which would prevent the sale of the property at this time.
The Miami Shores house has an estimated market value of $658,500 according to Zillow.com.
So how could Joe Price legitimately claim that the defendants had liquidated all of their assets, when the combined value of his real estate property is $1 million?

The lovely Miami Shores house has a fenced-in yard, patio, and pool with extensive landscaping. Very nice.

Maybe the murder weapon is buried in the bushes. I’d be willing to travel to sunny Florida and check if everyone here is willing to fund my travels. I’d even be willing to check in the pool and maybe at the beach too.
If I’m not mistaken, there is a drain in the alley behind the 1500 block of Swann. I’d bet real money one of them simply walked out back and dropped it down there.
I’ll run out and take a pic of it and send it to the editors.
I imagine it would be up to the city – WASA? – to open that drain up for a search. I don’t recall anyone doing that, but I was out of the country a lot during that time.
But if someone deputizes you to go to Florida, let me know 😉
Trying to squeeze in on my money train?
How do you propose these assets be liquidated when you note that they cannot presently be sold because the deeds were surrendered?
I think the point is that Joe’s email pleading for donations, acting like a pauper, was sent BEFORE the judge even ordered that they turn over their property deeds.
You are correct.
Isn’t it interesting that the Miami Shores property was purchased last year, at a price of over $700,000, with Price’s S/M toy boy, Dylan Ward, as its primary occupant? It is now leased. Some have speculated Price & Zaborsky bought Florida property due to its homestead exemption in bankruptcy.
Where are the 3 men living now?
Equally curious about that myself.
Joseph Price and Victor Zaborsky are renting #703 at 1640 16th St NW according to legal documents file in the civil case.
Is it wise to publish the apt. no.?
That is publically available information if filed in Court docs.
And where is Dylan Ward now?
I heard Ward is Price’s & Zaborsky’s roomie.
Word on the street is that Dylan now resides in Northern Virginia and Price and Zaborsky are not roommates with him at their current address. It appears that his status was not elevated as Zaborsky had indicated they were trying to do in his comments to the DC police – see the Affidavit for Ward’s arrest for the details at https://whomurderedrobertwone.com/legal-documents/
What changed their plans???
It’s been downgraded by Zillow to $534,100 now. Over $100,000 loss. Was there a note in the J. Price “defense” fund, that the “defense” was a homestead in Fla?
That’s quite a loss when you consider their limited incomes from recent years. Thanks for the update, Susan.
