Not Safe For Wone Last week’s filing of the Government’s Notice of Uncharged Conduct I generated a fair amount of light and heat in the Robert Wone case.  The ‘light’ column features highlights of the government’s position – that the murder investigation “…continues”, that the “…killer is someone know to and being protected by...

Search Tools

The Blogosfear WordPress stats are limited but one feature shows incoming Google searches. Paul Duggan’s Washington Post series and Tim Arango’s piece in the New York Times triggered all sorts of search terms we saw in the dashboard. In the wake of all that ink, searches for Victor Zaborsky outnumbered those for Price or Ward by a factor of two...

How is Culuket a Window into Joe Price's Character?

02/05/2009
By David

Yesterday, one of our very smart commenters put together a definition of Culuket that seems to hold water for its intended definition.  Yet, as another very bright commenter noted that it doesn’t tell us anything new about Joe Price.  We know from the affidavit for Dylan Ward’s arrest, that Joe Price was a sexually...

Culuket defined

02/04/2009
By David

Thanks to an intrepid commenter we now have the best definition yet of defendant Joe Price’s e-mail name — Culuket.  Joe Price used the culuket e-mail address for both non-sexual communication, as well as sexually-oriented communication.  This information was revealed in the affidavit for search warrants. The anonymous commenter says, “Regarding Price’s “culuket” email name and...

Culuket ALT.com profile removed

It appears that the profile for “Culuket” that was posted on ALT.com (a fetish hook-up site) has been removed at the request of its owner. Culuket is the name believed to have been used by Joseph Price as a Yahoo email address and on other online services. The profile had been inactive for at...

Purpose of this Site

On August 2nd, 2006, Washington attorney Robert E. Wone was murdered at 1509 Swann Street. Over two years passed before any criminal charges were filed - and then only conspiracy, obstruction of justice and crime scene tampering charges were brought against the Swann Street housemates, all present in the home on the night of the murder: Joe Price, Dylan Ward and Victor Zaborsky.

On May 17, 2010, a DC Superior Court trial got underway and all three defendants were all acquitted in that bench trial on those pending charges.

Nearly four years later, very little seems clear about what happened that night and who murdered Robert Wone. A cloud of suspicion remains over the Swann Street defendants who have denied any involvement in the murder of their friend or in the alleged cover up.

Judge Lynn Leibovitz found a moral certainty in their collective guilt, but not evidentiary certainty. Civil proceedings in a wrongful death suit filed by Robert's family is the next chapter in this tragic story.

We continue to work together seeking answers to the mystery of Robert Wone's murder and in finding justice for his memory and legacy.
