02/01/2009
By Doug

Doug notes:The following is written by a friend, ‘Dave’ a counselor and therapist living in the San Francisco area. He was not at all familiar with the Robert Wone case until he began reviewing this blog. He sends along these thoughts and offers an alternate hypothesis which I or my co-authors had...

Who Murdered Robert Wone?

01/28/2009
By Doug

Truth Hits the Law A video, assembled from elements we have taken ourselves and other media. I shall offer no other comment than to say that this, encapsulated, is what we are asking here. With all the digging about into this person’s sexual past or that person’s publishing history, one might ask: “Dudes,...

Another View From the Prism This, frankly, is something of a teaser post. I’ve been in conversation with a good friend, D, who has long worked as therapist and counselor in San Francisco. He was not familiar with Mr. Wone’s murder, and recently reviewed this blog and the coverage linked herein. We shall...

Two Alternate Viewpoints In the coming week I and my fellow authors hope to expand the number of our posts, as well as their content. Wone's Friends Gather

01/14/2009
By Doug

This is a YouTube post, put together by some group using facilities (it seems) in Chapel Hill called “The People’s Channel.” I can only first guess this is a public access group – one of hundreds that attract people deeply committed to a cause or an issue. In this case, bringing pressure...

Purpose of this Site

On August 2nd, 2006, Washington attorney Robert E. Wone was murdered at 1509 Swann Street. Over two years passed before any criminal charges were filed - and then only conspiracy, obstruction of justice and crime scene tampering charges were brought against the Swann Street housemates, all present in the home on the night of the murder: Joe Price, Dylan Ward and Victor Zaborsky.

On May 17, 2010, a DC Superior Court trial got underway and all three defendants were all acquitted in that bench trial on those pending charges.

Nearly four years later, very little seems clear about what happened that night and who murdered Robert Wone. A cloud of suspicion remains over the Swann Street defendants who have denied any involvement in the murder of their friend or in the alleged cover up.

Judge Lynn Leibovitz found a moral certainty in their collective guilt, but not evidentiary certainty. Civil proceedings in a wrongful death suit filed by Robert's family is the next chapter in this tragic story.

We continue to work together seeking answers to the mystery of Robert Wone's murder and in finding justice for his memory and legacy.
